Background

Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) was looking to deliver greater reach, efficiency, effectiveness and ultimately greater influence with its stakeholders through online channels. AWI identified that this could be facilitated through the consolidation of their numerous websites, improvement of the site information architecture and delivery of a standardised communication interface underpinned by a Content Management System (CMS) and a linked email marketing platform to enhance stakeholder communications. These systems were also supported by a Digital Asset Management system (DAM) that provided centralised management of digital assets.

Project Overview

AWI appointed 5 Limes as their partner to deliver the solution and integrate 18 separate web sites into one online site. The new site is managed by the OpenText CMS and delivered through OpenText’s LiveServer platform which delivers personalised content that respects the various relationships AWI has with its growers, buyers and end consumers.

AWI Portfolio

The RedDot CMS is also utilised to manage the creation of the newsletters which are then published to the Traction platform to create consistent communications to site users through a seamless interaction that respects users preferred delivery methods (SMS notification, RSS feeds and even text variants).

The CMS also supported the creation of multilingual content for 4 languages and provides semi-automated translation of content.
